For those of you who have purchased an Unlocked iPhone and use it on the T-Mobile Network, How well does it work? I'm seriously thinking about getting one on eBay and I am just curious if a lot of the functions don't work, or if its worth it. Let me know!

It works amazing. Frankly, it works better than any of the phones we sell. (Dont tell i said that).

YouTube works
Internet works great
Email, all of it (and TMobiles internet and email are cheaper, and our plans for that matter!)

The ONLY FEATURE that doesnt work is VISUAL VOICEMAIL. Your voicemail will work fine, but not the ability to see the messages in a list like texts. Only ATT liscenced that technology from apple.


Use www.ziphone.org (maybe .com, cant remember) to unlock it. Did it again for someone 4 days ago, worked in under 10 minutes, not fussing, just plug and play.

Ive tried calling vodafone, optus and telstra stores and none of them sell the iphone unlocked, so i can stick my own sim in. does anyone actually know where you can buy an unlocked one from? or is it only on the internet?
the problem with ebay is that its really dodgy with illegal unlocking as there is no warrenty etc and apple wont fix it if it breaks.
