I just got a HTC Touch from Alltel today, here is a little hands on demo of some of its features.

Does the Alltel HTC Touch Pro require a data plan? I have the Motorola Q9c smart phone and I'm not paying for a data plan just to use it. I was wondering if I do the same with the HTC Touch Pro. I just like the look of the phone and its full slide out
A: You have to have a data plan with this phone.Why would you want a smart phone like that one if you cant use the features?

i have a contract already but i dont want to give up my old phone because i just had a baby and i have so much of his picture and video i dont want to let go of. and then they told me it would be like fourty dollars to get mim. card and then i had to pay for the new phone i want that would be alittle to much. I relly would like one of these phones but funds are low and out of a job. thanks soooooooo much.
