A: As others have already said, this type of drill is perfect if all you are going to be using it for is general use around the house. You mentioned however that you need it for woodworking. Neither the Black and Decker or the Craftsman drill is going

I am very easily impressed with technology. My jaw drops wide open at the sight of a looping Doppler radar. The whir of a microwave oven makes my heart skip a beat. Even something as simple as a TV remote control has a way of pushing my buttons.

But none of these experiences can compare to my amazement with something I recently purchased. It's called a GPS. I originally thought GPS stood for “Getting Places Sooner,” but what it really means is “Global Positioning System.”�

Evidently, these things somehow connect us with satellites in space. That makes us kind of like astronauts, only we’re on the ground in cars instead of spaceships, and we wear normal clothes instead of spacesuits, and we’re going to the grocery store instead of the moon. Other than that, we’ve got NASA written all over us.

These satellites tell the GPS exactly where you are. But that’s not all.�You can tell the GPS where you want to go, and it will lead you there. But you have to follow the voices of women.� I’m not sure why they picked women’s voices, but I guess the inventors thought that since men are used to hearing women tell them where to go, they would naturally respond to a woman’s voice on a GPS. It works for me.
