FAQ: Skil Cordless Drill
Can one use a skil cordless 14.4 volt drill to drill pilot holes into the basement cynderblock wall? Will any cordless drills do this? If not, what kind of tool is neccessary to drill into the wall? (I want to mount some shelves to the wall.)
A:
It's according to the age and the material of the blocks, the number and the size of the holes. I have drilled a lot of 1/4" holes in some basements with a cordless and ran into a couple of them where I couldn't get one hole drilled.
