FAQ: Laser
I have this cheap laser pointer (~ $30) from RadioShack. I wish to modify it, but I cannot remove the actual laser and microchip from its encasement. I've seen many where the top screw out, mine doesn't. Any suggestions as to how I might go about removing it?

Laser light show puts some hip in the holidays San Antonio Express
In Tim Walsh and George Cisneros' world, Santa likes to mambo and Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer is a disco trance dancer.
Urban-15's annual “3-D Holiday Laser Show” is a delightful, two-part laser and music show that will make children “ooh” and “aah” and have adults shaking their booties.
“It's become a tradition,” said Cisneros, Urban-15 co-founder, after Friday's matinee performance for neighborhood school children. “We're like the great-grandchildren of Tesla. The net effect is optimism: lightness over dark.”
“Holiday Laser Show” continues today with two shows at the Urban-15 Studio, on South Presa.
Walsh, a saxophonist with Austin's Fabulous Polkasonics, creates the 3-D laser images with seven laser projectors, mirrors and computer-generated audio tones. A stereo signal is fed to the projectors to create a unique pattern.
