I have an emachines laptop. my touch pad is not working AT ALL. just started when i got home from school.. it was left home with the babysitter all day... has anyone else had this problem? and how do i fix it?

Buy a USB wireless mouse and then go to control panel, pointing devises, click touch pad tab, adjust/rest click apply and save.
I hardly ever use the touch pad after buying a USB wireless mouse, faster, easier to use than the touch pad.
