Gaming Computer Monitor
Q: I'm trying to decide if whether i should get a 32 inch HDTV to use as a computer monitor or just buy a 24 inch LCD computer monitor. Which would be better for gaming with first person shooter type games. Also I would use it to play xbox360 and ps3. Which monitor would I get the best resolution out of?
A: basically lcd's and hdtv perform same when used with a computer so just get the bigger one because its bigger of course and you can play at higher resolution.
I am getting a prittey good gaming computer so I need a good moniter. I have been looking at the Sceptre 24" LCD 16:9 Wide Screen 2ms, but there is only 1 rating and it says that it had burnt pizels and a line down the screen, is that true? Im looking for a screen over 22''.

I guess I have finally found a monitor a lot of people have been dreaming of and it is gScreen G400. The main feature of this cuttie is availability of true identical super bright15.4-inch LED-backlit screens. The G400 will go worldwide starting February 25th, 2009 and everybody concerned can buy it at Amazon online stores. Apart from two screens the laptop comes with a full-size keyboard. As to the other tech specs they are the following:

I am not the best when it comes to choosing LCD computer monitors. I know a small amount but am seeking advice from someone who really knows his/her stuff.
I need a widescreen monitor that can be used on a 1920x1200 resolution. I need it to be built towards gaming(I think this means a low response time, high contrast ratio, low glare, and decent viewing angle).
I have a digital cable box in my room and I would want to be able to connect it to my new computer monitor if that is possible.
I am not sure if the above info applies to computer monitors as well as TV's so please bare with me =)
Any fellow gamers out there that found a great monitor/tv for their room?
