Lyman Orchards Easter Apple Hunt This Weekend

For the 28th year , Lyman Orchards , one of the most visited attractions in the state, is preparing for a special visitor – the Easter Bunny.  He's scheduled to arrive at Lyman's Apple Barrel market at nine o'clock in the morning, in plenty of time to welcome children and their families to Connecticut’s Biggest, Best, and Only Easter Apple Hunt, on Saturday. 

Young participants, from 1 to 10 years of age, will join others in their age groups to search for apples hidden in a hay maze on the Apple Barrel grounds. More than 15,000 Lyman apples are used in the Apple Hunt, many of which are specially marked for redeemable, age-appropriate prizes for children. Easter Apple Hunt admission is $3 per child.  Parents are encouraged to register children in advance by signing up online at lymanorchards.com. Event day registration is also available at the field on the day of the Hunt.
