Sony Cyber Shot Digital Camera
Q: I have a sony Digital Camera (Cyber-shot) with 1.3 Mega Pixels. The problem is i have no idea how many pictures the memory sticks holds since it says 8MB. Im very ignorant with electronics and I home someone out there can help me understand my camera a little more!
A: There's a very easy way to check. Delete all pictures from your memory stick. Put it into the camera. Go into shooting mode and look at the little memory stick shape icon. Then look at the number below it and that's the amount of pictures you can take at whatever setting your camera is in. I'm assuming that the layout of your 1.3 mp sony is similar to my old 2.0 mp sony, which is now my little brother's toy. No offense.
Actually nvm, I think the icon only shows how many pictures you have taken so far. I don't really remember, but you can probably take at least 30 pictures with that stick. Play around with your camera, I'm sure it will tell you somewhere how many pictures your memory stick can hold. I think that information would definitely be in the manuel if you still have it.
I have a Sony Cyber-shot, 8.1 Mega Pixel digital camera and when I try to use it, it says "Insert Memory Stick." My memory stick is in. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks!

Does the Sony Cyber-Shot digital camera come with a memory stick? I'm thinking of buying one as a Christmas gift but I don't know if I also need to buy a memory stick for it or if one comes with the camera. I would like him to be able to use it to take pictures on Christmas Day. Thank you.
