As always, electronics are hot sellers this year. The Oneida Wal-Mart store, easily the top retail destination in Madison County, had big-screen televisions ranging from under $100 to more than $1,000. There were Blu-Ray players for about $200 and GPS navigation devices starting at around $100. “Notebook” laptops, PCs mainly used for e-mail, web browsing and digital photo storage, could be found for under $300.
