Apple iPad 2 MC979LL/A Tablet (16GB, Wifi, White) 2nd Generation

I bought a white iPad 2 when it first came out and it is starting to torn yellow-ish. Does anyone know how to clean it so that it looks new again?

A: You need to send it back to apple,if it is turning another color,if it just got dirty then just get a really soft cloth,like a Kleenex and get some germ-x and clean it that way...always works for me

I’m writing this because this week here in New York’s Guggenheim Museum, Apple once again unleashed its category-crushing might against an industry desperately in need of phasers-on-kill disruption, the world of educational publishing — announcing a new version of its iBooks software that was optimized for stunningly rendered interactive textbooks.

The pitch was simple, according to Apple VP of Marketing of Phil Schiller: Books are, you know, awesome. But they’re not really an ideal modern teaching tool — they get “dog-eared, and written-in, worn.” And, as we’ve all encountered firsthand, they can be heavy and bulky as heck. And expensive!

So why not take physical books out of the educational equation? In Apple’s new iBooks for the classroom, pictures come to life as videos; 3D models can be spun, enlarged and animated; text can be searched, highlighted, annotated and automatically pulled into digital flashcards. They’re digital, so they don’t ever wear out — and so they can be updated at any time with the click of an appstore button to reflect a volume’s latest corrections and enhancements. And toting one or a dozen books adds nothing to the weight of the iPad they’re stored on — about one and a third pounds. Best of all for both parents and schools? These gorgeous, spanking new multimedia texts will cost under $15 apiece.
