Sony has detailed the upcoming PlayStation 3 firmware 3.15 update which is due in a few days from now. The new PS 3 firmware 3.15 will bring data transfer utility and PSP Mini support to the PlayStation 3 gaming console. This new firmware update will bring synergy and synchronization amongst PlayStation consoles.

PlayStation makers are certainly building up the PlayStation ecosystem. However the process is gradual as the next PS 3 firmware 3.15 update that brings new Data Transfer Utility for better synchronization between two PlayStation 3 consoles. The last PS 3 firmware 3.10 update brought Facebook and grid view in Photo category.

So, if you got new PlayStation 3 Slim and want all your PlayStation 3 data on it, then the new Data Transfer Utility can be quite handy. One won't have to fool around to remove hard drives at least. Also, the data transfer requires two PS 3 consoles to be connected using LAN cables.

I was thinking of buying a PSP slim + lite, but is there any significant let downs in the console I should know about? And is there any other consoles I might like? I'm 14.

i have a psp slim+lite, i got the special edition star wars one with darth vader on the back.

when i opened the package i thought it was the plastic psp ( the fake one) because it was so light, then i reized it was the real thing.

some things i didn't like:

to open the url disc you don't press a button and it comes open, you have to open it with your finger.

Did like:
better graphics
bigger screen
cooler buttons= clear ,light


it's worth it. o recomened getting the star wars renegade squardron pack or star wars ( the force unleashed) if you are a star wars fan.

i'm now kind of stuck at what to buy..psp or ds lite...i'm quite new to hand-held games, and the only console i got is my old game-boy color...

i would like to find out which would all of u recommend...psp or ds lite...i would prefer to go for something that will not make me bored after playing for a long time...

i can't buy both cos i only have budget of $400 singapore dollar...and i don't really go for the additional functions like mp3 (as i have mp3 player) nor do i go for things like touch screen as i prefer to play by pressing

For me i personally play all kinds of games...but i tend to get bored with super Mario or 2D games. I also get bored with those classic shooting games where u just aim and shoot.

i love games with nice music such as gdamania/dtxmania, or dancing games, and other games that need to complete quests like cabal or maplestory, and also some other cute games like pokemon, dragon...

I had the same dilemma as well, it all comes down to what kind of games you prefer. The PSP, in my opinion, has better single-player games and RGPs like Final Fantasy: Crisis Core, God of War: Chains of Olympus, Patapon just to name a few. The DS is more multiplayer-orientated, with most of its games offering multiplayer support or have a focus of multiplayer. although they do have some good RPGs.

The PSP is also graphically more superior to the DS and has a larger screen, although the DS' touchscreen can be amusing at times. I have had the PSP Slim for about 6 months now and I am still not bored of it.
