Wii Sports (Nintendo Selects)

I want a wii game with exercise that's pretty easy but I can break a sweat. The wii sports boxing and the mario sonic olympics were really good at getting the job done but I want some more. And no I do not want to hear about wii fitness.

A: Wii Family Trainer is by far the most energetic game I have come across on the Wii... Give it a try!

Best April Fool's gaming jokes

A funny thing happens every April in the world of video games.

As April 1st rolls around and the Web in general gets flooded with bogus news stories, clever website mockups and YouTube videos of pranks gone horribly wrong, video gamers in particular seem to enjoy (or endure) a higher than average amount of April foolishness.

A lot of these jokes are perpetrated by gaming enthusiast websites and magazines, and many of them are, to be indelicate, kinda dumb. Although I did get completely fooled in 2005 by EGM magazine's story about a remake of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker with realistic graphics. Oops.

A great April Fools' Day joke is one that actually sucks people into believing the joke. But since we're so savvy and wary now, we must be content with an April Fools' Day joke that makes us laugh, or one that makes us wish the thing being joked about was actually true.

In case you (wisely) unplugged yourself from the Web last week and ignored the nonsense, I've rounded up my favourite of the gaming-related jokes and pranks for your amusement or annoyance. No foolin'.

Obviously you couldn't put Doom III or Quake 4 on the GameCube/Wii as they didn't have the graphical power, but with a more powerful console, IIRC both Quake and Quake II were available on the N64, and Doom also made it to both the SNES and the GameBoy Advance....
