Connor's Corner #3: Most Zelda games on the 3DS

I’m not sure about A Link to the Past on the Virtual Console, because we haven’t seen any SNES or GBA games on the Virtual Console. However, I might be mistaken about the former, and I’m not counting Ambassador games for the latter. Miyamoto has expressed interest in A Link to the Past 3D, so no matter what, we should be expecting the game on the 3DS.

Putting the Oracle games on the Virtual Console is inevitable, and I look forward to seeing them so I can finally beat Oracle of Ages.

I think I can see Wind Waker and Four Swords Adventures on the 3DS, but I’ll have to play Wind Waker again to see how GameCube controls can translate to the 3DS controls.  Perhaps the GameCube games will have to wait for the successor to the 3DS, so we should just be expecting them to hit the Wii U’s Virtual Console because we can dream of them being portable games.

Because of the Twilight Princess port for Wii, I can’t see it becoming a portable game, much for the same reasons as Skyward Sword was made for the Wii. Skyward Sword expanded upon Twilight Princess Wii’s control scheme, arguably making it the defining Wii experience.
